Description
K-Type Thermocouple CR-12 for Digital Kiln Thermometer- 1 thermocouple with high temperature ceramic tube insulation and connector plate-
-58 to 2192°F (-50 to 1200°C)
This is a thin, heavy duty K-type Thermocouple for use in kiln and furnace applications. The probe is made from AWG 14 Gauge thermocouple wire and is rated for continuous use at high temperatures of 2192 °F Fahrenheit or 1200 °C Celsius. Short term it can be used up to 2372 °F Fahrenheit or 1300 °C Celsius. The k-type thermocouple is about 10 inch (25 cm) in total length, and the 8 insulation tubes are about 8 inch long. It comes with a connector plate MP-35 for wiring it to a Digital K-type thermometer or controller.
This type K Thermocouple Kiln Probe is made with 8 ceramic insulators, each about 1 inch long, and it allows you to adjust the probe length by removing insulator elements and shortening the wire to your exact requirement. The diameter of the ceramic insulation tubes is about 5/16 inch or 8 mm. This allows you to use a small hole in the kiln to fit the k-type sensor.
