Tobu Railway 500 Series Liberty was newly built by Tobu Railway for the first time in 26 years. It is a limited express type vehicle.
It is characterized by a high degree of freedom in operation that makes use of the split / merge function. In urban areas, trains are separated and trains are operated in 3-car trains.
"Liberty Kegon" is a train that runs to Tobu Nikko, and "Liberty Aizu" is a train that rides on the Yagan Railway and Aizu Railway to Aizu Tajima Station.
In addition, it is operated by "Liberty Ryomo" which runs to Tatebayashi Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line and "Urban Park Liner" which runs to Omiya Station and Unga Station on the Urban Park Line.
