Offered for your consideration is a New Old Stock Fiskars "Classic" 8" Heavy Duty Scissors, Model 3452.
From 2004!  Not long after this Fiskars (and just about every American company) moved manufacturing to Asia.
Ergonomic handles, stainless steel blades.
Back in the day, Fiskars were the "gold standard" for nice, home use scissors.  They were either made in USA or in Finland and were manufactured with high quality.  I have a few pairs from the early 2000s that I still use today.  Sure, you'll spend a little more upfront to buy these, but you wont be buying scissors for a
long
time !  Plus, they'll perform as you expect.

China made Fiskers scissors today are junk compared to the older USA-made versions (my opinion).  With proper care, these will last years and years (as my current USA Fiskars have)
