Description

Optimized and calibrated for testing papers, the Delmhorst RDM-3P Paper Moisture Meter is fully equipped for testing paperboard, kraft stock, corrugated stock, paper tubes and paper bale. Paper has a strong tendency to absorb moisture and the most significant paper properties affected by a change in moisture level within the paper are: weight, dimensions, flatness, conductivity, strength, and fold. Paper products are incredibly sensitive to moisture, and it is crucial to monitor its moisture levels during production and upon delivery.
The Delmhorst RDM-3P Paper Moisture Meter comes with three scales: 5.3 to 23% MC for paper, 8 to 40% MC for baled scrap paper, and a 0 to 100 arbitrary scale for obtaining relative moisture indications on other material. It also includes advanced storage and recalls making it easy to organize multiple jobs or even download data to a PC via the optional linkage software. It can store up 1,400 readings with date and time stamp. Other features include audible, adjustable alarm and auto-shut off timer to save battery life.
The integral contact pins mounted on top of the meter provide 5/16" penetration, it also comes with a built-in connector compatible with any Delmhorst electrode. Measurements and stored readings can be viewed on the bright, clear digital display. The Delmhorst RDM-3P Paper Moisture Meter comes with a rugged and ergonomic enclosure, together with a sturdy plastic carrying case it ensures years of reliable use. This meter comes with a 9V battery and a 1-year warranty.
