    Description

    4" K-type Kiln Thermocouple
3/16" ceramic insulators fit 1/4" kiln hole
This is a high temperature K-type kiln thermocouple for use with ceramic or glass kilns. It is 4 1/4 inches long and has 4 ceramic insulators, each 1 inch long and 3/16 in diameter.
This K-type thermocouple easily fits a 1/4 inch hole in your kiln. The larger 5/16 inch ceramic insulator will seal the hole. It comes with a 5 ft lead wire and a miniature K-type thermocouple connector which will work with most digital thermometers.
It is a good alternative to the PY71 from Paragon and works with the kiln thermometer DT2-7 or DT2-9.  It will work with Fluke thermometers 53/54 IIB . (
It it not manufactured or endorsed by Paragon or Fluke, we are just pointing out compatibility).
