This is a brand new digital K type thermometer for low and high temperature measurements in degree Fahrenheit or degree Celsius or in the scientific unit Kelvin. It has two inputs for K-type thermocouples and can display the temperature in 0.1° steps in the range up to 999.9 degrees. Note that over 1000 degrees it will display the temperature in 1 degree steps, press the 1
° button to enter this mode.
This digital thermometer can be used in HVAC trade to check air conditioners, heaters or furnaces with high precision. In manufacturing it can be used to measure liquid and air temperatures. In foundries and metal working it can measure very high temperatures in oven, furnace, forge or kiln. Potters use it to measure the temperature in electric or gas kilns for clay or porcelain kilns. Two specialized 1 yard long k-type thermocouple with a high temperature ceramic insulation is included. With the two probes you can measure the temperatures in different spots in a kiln or oven, for example at the top or bottom, or near the kiln door or the center.
This digital K-type thermometer can measure two temperatures, T1 and T2, and it can display the difference T1-T2 between the two temperatures. This is useful to quickly determine uniformity, or measure inside and outside temperature.
It is also great thermometer for science projects, schools and universities and whenever you need a precise measurement of temperatures. It can be used in chemistry, physics and earth science.
It comes with two 3 ft (1 m) wire temperature probes, this has a green teflon plastic insulation and works up to about 400°F (204°C), and two additional 36" high temperature thermocouple with ceramic fiber insulation, which works up to 1832 degree Fahrenheit (1000 degree Celsius).
A
